Students are to type a one page summary of the book they have read. The summary should include the main elements of a book. The best way to approach this is to use their reading notebook and take notes chapter by chapter. Then use this information to compile the book report. I do not have a specific format that is required for the book report. I liked to by wowed by my student's thoughts. A level 4 book report would include some form of analysis and/or evaluation of the book itself and the book must be at or above 5th grade level.
