You need to select a biography about a famous person that you would like to read. Remember your book report is due Friday, September 16^th, so find a book that you can read in about a week and half. A biography is a book written about a person or a book that contains a true story about a part of a person’s life. I know Ms. Hinton has taught you about biographies and where to find them in the library.

Select one of the following 5 ideas for your book report. Tell me the name of the book, author and the book report project you have selected by August 29th.

• Create life-sized model of the main character and dress him or her as he or she dressed in the book. Crouch down behind your character and describe yourself as the character. Tell what you are famous for, when you lived, where you lived, about your family and friends and an interesting story from your life. Make sure you include all information on the rubric.
• Dress as the main character and talk to the class as if you were that person. Tell what you are famous for, when you lived, where you lived, about your family and friends, and an interesting story from your life. Make sure you include all information on the rubric.
• Write a diary entry (the day I discovered, the day I became famous for, etc.) that the main character might have written. Remember that the character’s thoughts and feelings are important in a diary. In addition include what the main character is famous for, when and where that person lived, about his or her family and friends, and an interesting story from his or her life. Additionally, draw a picture or include a picture of your famous person. Make sure you include all information on the rubric.
• Make an "All About Me" poster about the main character. Include what the main character is famous for, when and where that person lived, about his or her family and friends, a picture of him or her, and an interesting story from his or her life. Make sure you include all information on the rubric.
• Make a poster timeline of the main character’s life. Include 10 important dates, and tell what happened for each of the dates. Include: what the main character was famous for, when and where that person lived, about his or her family and friends, and an interesting story from his or her life. Also include what the main character looked like or a picture of him or her. Make sure you include all information on the rubric.
